Sunscreen products

In the United States, sunscreen is regulated as an over-the-counter drug. Apply sunscreen exactly as directed on the product label and reapply as instructed. Sunscreen is not a substitute for protective clothing, hats or shade. The SPF and broad-spectrum statements we publish come from the product labels supplied to us.

Fragrance, cologne and perfume

Fragrance products are for external use only. They are flammable — keep away from heat, sparks and open flame — and should be kept away from the eyes and from broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Heat styling and electrical tools

Hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons and other electrical tools must be used according to their included instructions. Surfaces and barrels become hot during use — keep them away from children, do not use them near water, and unplug them when not in use.
